Original ''Felix the Cat'' Sunday comic strip by Felix's co-creator Otto Messmer, published 15 January 1933. In this 12-panel strip, Felix and his friend, the dog, try to survive the night in the middle of winter. With King Features Syndicate label on eleventh panel. Artwork is signed by Pat Sullivan but drawn by Messmer who took over drawing the strip in 1927; although Messmer is known to have created Felix with Sullivan, he remained uncredited since the design was a work for hire. Measures 23'' x 17.875'' on Sargent board. With blue editorial numbers on each panel. A few spots of discoloration and minor browning to edges, overall in very good condition.
