Five items from the San Francisco advance screening of ''The Empire Strikes Back'', almost one month before the film's world premiere in London. Lot includes three glossy black, white and silver cards measuring 5'' x 7'', one being the invitation to the 26 April 1980 event, and two other being cards holding tickets. One 4'' x 4.5'' ticket is still present, which is an invitation to the lunch following the screening. Last piece is the envelope postmarked 10 April 1980 from San Anselmo, California, with the Lucasfilm P.O. Box address embossed on flap. Envelope is addressed to Howie Stein, who served as Assistant Effects Editor on the film. ''Party Tickets'' is written on the front of one of the cards, and ''Screening Tickets'' on another, else near fine. Invitation card has no writing on it.
