Confederate leader Judah P. Benjamin document signed, dated 21 June 1880 when Benjamin lived in London after the Civil War. Benjamin orders the payment of $500 to John Collinson for repayment of a loan that Benjamin used to purchase the Atlantic, Mississippi and Ohio Railroad. Measures 8'' x 5'', boldly signed by Benjamin at conclusion. Creasing and small hole at upper left; very good condition. Accompanied by other documents concerning the Railroad. With PSA/DNA COA.
