Ulysses S. Grant magic lantern slide, taken by Mathew Brady in 1864 at one of the most challenging points in Grant's command of the U.S. Armies during the Civil War. Glass slide measures 4'' x 3.25'', including casing. Information on slide reads ''McIntosh Battery & Optical Co.'' of Chicago. Very good condition.
