James McDivitt's personally owned Robbins medal, flown on the Apollo 9 mission, which marked the first flight of the entire Apollo spacecraft. Sterling silver medal is encapsulated by CAG and graded mint MS64. Observe has the mission emblem in relief, showing the CSM and LM orbiting around the Saturn V rocket, with the numerals ''IX''. Reverse has the crew member's names, along with the sterling mark, the 3-13 March 1969 mission date, and the medal number 215. Measures 1'' in diameter. Near fine condition. Accompanied by James McDivitt's signed COA.
