Lot of four Grammy nominations, and also a Theater Hall of Fame award for Burgess Meredith. Lot includes: (1) 1972 Grammy nomination awarded to Bill Cosby for ''Bill Cosby Talks to Kids About Drugs'', in the category of ''Best Recording for Children''. Measures 8'' x 5.25'', taped on verso to original mat measuring 11'' x 8.5''. Discoloration to top right edge of mat, and light soiling to nomination. Very good condition; (2) 1972 Grammy nomination awarded to Bill Cosby for ''When I was a Kid'', in the category of ''Best Comedy Recording''. Measures 8'' x 5.25'', taped on verso to original mat measuring 11'' x 8.5''. Significant discoloration and wear to mat, although nomination itself is very good to near fine; (3) 1978 Grammy nomination plaque for Best Classical Orchestral Performance, awarded to Conductor Carlo Maria Giulini and Producer Christopher Bishop for Bruckner: Symphony No. 9 in D Minor performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Plaque measures 8.5'' x 10.5'', with Perma Plaque marking to verso. Near fine condition; (4) 1977 Grammy nomination plaque awarded to Ernie Kovacs for ''Best Comedy Recording'' for ''The Ernie Kovacs Album''. Plaque measures 8.5'' x 10.5'', with Perma Plaque marking to verso. Some scuffing to plaque, overall in very good condition; (5) ''Scroll of Honor'' presented to Tony award-winning actor and director Burgess Meredith for his induction into the Theater Hall of Fame. Paper scroll is framed to a size of 11.125'' x 14.25''. Some light discoloration and chipping to frame, overall in very good condition. From Burgess Meredith's estate, originally sold as lot 289 in the Sotheby's 13 June 1998 sale.
