Charles Darwin autograph letter signed, ''Ch. R. Darwin''. Dated 4 December 1863, Darwin writes his land agent John Higgins, acknowledging the receipt of funds collected from Darwin's farm at Beesby. Composed on Darwin's Down, Bromley, Kent, stationery, Darwin purposely signs over a duty stamp at conclusion of letter. Letter measures 5'' x 8''. Very good plus condition.
