Yitzak Rabin hand-drawn, signed map of Israel, extraordinarily scarce as the only such map ever encountered. Drawn during the time of the 1993 Oslo Accords, Prime Minister Rabin here draws Israel, providing detail to both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. He also writes ''Sinai'' below the Israeli border. Ink map is composed on stationery from the Sheraton Jerusalem Plaza Hotel, measuring 5.5'' x 9'', with a ''first try'' drawing on the verso that is scribbled out. Accompanied by a second page of the same size, likely in another hand, explaining that the numbers in Rabin's map are population figures for the West Bank and Gaza. Map and second page are matted together with a 7'' x 5'' photo of Rabin drawing the map, stamped on verso by documentary photographer Robert A. Cumins, who was present at the Oslo Accords signing ceremony in 1993. Entire presentation measures 23.25'' x 11.5''. Rabin's signature is a bit light, otherwise near fine condition. With University Archives COA. An extraordinarily scarce signed map by the Israeli Prime Minister.
