Dr. Malcolm O. Perry signed souvenir copy of his handwritten medical report filed 22 November 1963 after President John F. Kennedy died, with handwritten corrections regarding the bullet wound inflicted upon the President. Perry was one of the operating surgeons tending to JFK, and performed the tracheotomy above the bullet wound in his neck, which he first stated was an entrance wound, but then later recanted, stating it could have been either an entrance or exit wound. Document is rare as Perry has avoided attention concerning his involvement in the event, but here corrects a typed statement next to the report, crossing out ''as'' and ''entry'' in the statement ''virtually everyone else in the emergency room described as a bullet entry wound in the throat.'' He also inserts the word ''possibly'' to temper his original statement that it was an entry wound. Signed ''Malcolm O. Perry'' at center of document, which measures 8.5'' x 11''. Near fine condition.
