Albert Einstein signature, signed ''A. Einstein'' in black fountain pen upon a slip of paper measuring 5.25'' x 3''. Slip is stationery, with the name and address of Ruth Hendricks of Mamaroneck, New York appearing on verso, along with the date of 12 June 1936 written in pen, and a few other notes. Miss Hendricks was married in August 1936 to Hyman Schulson, a lawyer for the American Zionist Council, who represented the Council at the United Nations in 1948. It was likely in this association that Miss Hendricks knew Einstein and acquired his signature. Mounting remnants to top, overall very good condition.
