Poem reads,
"Darlings
I've got that Indigo feeling
I can't seem to get to sleep
To the sand man I'm humbly appealing
For a dream of you, even a peep.
Darlings I miss you.!
I lie in my bed and I toss,
I've counted sheep by the dozen,
But Sweethearts I'm still at a loss,
For the reason my head keeps a buzzin',
Darlings I want you.!
I long for a sight of your lovable face
And my babies both, far away
There isn't a thing in the world could replace
A Glimpse of you three for a day,
Darlings I love you!
I'm hopin' and prayin' my heart keeps a payin'
They're thinkin' of you every day,
They miss you & love you to see you they're prayin',
I'm sorry I'm so far away,
Darlings I need you!"
