Turn of the century albumen photograph of the Gettysburg battlefield and its horizon. Sepia photo, measuring 7'' x 4.5'', is mounted to a card stock mat measuring 9'' x 7''. Upon the verso reads in cursive handwriting, ''Hancock Avenue looking to the Rounds Tops. Showing Gen. Meade Statue. High water mark. The Bloody Angle & wheatfield.'' Photograph is lightly faded and soiled with a small circular spot to the center right. Overall in good condition.
