Cover art by Sal Buscema for the September 1972 issue of ''Marvel Tales Starring Spider-Man!'' In this issue (Vol. 2, #37), a reprint of the September 1967 edition, Spider-Man saves himself and J. Jonah Jameson after being left to drown in the Kingpin's cellar. Bold and complex art measures 11.5'' x 16'' on Marvel illustration board. Dialogue bubbles and titling glued on. Some creasing and chipping to margins, but art itself is very good to near fine. Accompanied by published comic book. An excellent example of Spider-Man cover art.
