Fred K. Fletcher, NH Captain of ''Colored Troops'' 4 Civil War autograph letters signed. 6 envelopes. Captain Fletcher's letters home to his cousin and uncle during the war include Fletcher's accounts of the various encampments and marches his company endured. At one point he expresses his desire to go vote for Lincoln in the Presidential election, and he even manages some humor. Chipping and toning to envelope edges. Very good, especially considering the age. Letters show creasing and barely detectable toning. Near fine.
