The iconic winged woman holding an atom stands on the convex, grid-lined surface of a round metal base, plated in 18k gold. Flat perimeter of base reads: ''THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS AND SCIENCES''. Plaque is engraved with 6 lines naming the award, its category and recipient: ''1970-1971 TELEVISION ACADEMY AWARDS / Outstanding Achievement in Film Editing / For News And Documentary Programming / ROBERT B. LOWEREE and HENRY J. GRENNON / Cry Help! An NBC White Paper On Mentally Disturbed Youth / April 25, 1970 - NBC''. Emmy measures 15'' in total height with 7.5'' diameter base, and weighs 6 lbs., 4 oz. Heavy oxidation to the gold plating, which is flaking off in some areas. Overall good condition.
