President Theodore Roosevelt and First Lady Edith Roosevelt official invitation to the White House for a reception held 8 January 1903. Invitation has a gilt embossed Presidential seal at top and reads in full, ''The President and Mrs. Roosevelt request the pleasure of the company of Mr. and Mrs. Crowley at a reception to be held at the White House Thursday evening January the eight nineteen hundred and three from nine to half after ten o'clock''. Measures 5'' x 4.25''. Toning, otherwise near fine.
