Dwight D. Eisenhower typed letter signed as President, dated 12 November 1956 on official White House stationery. Here, Eisenhower writes to his brother, Edgar, discussing, among other things, his personal health: ''...I am in remarkably good health for my age, but at 66 I am sure no man can continue to take the steady daily beatings, worries and exhausting hours without finally showing some effects...'' Signed boldly ''D.E.'' in black ink. Letter measures 7'' x 10.5'' on one page. Near fine condition.
