Shirley Temple outfit worn to the 1935 Academy Awards, the year she was presented with the Juvenile Oscar by Irvin J. Cobb. Outfit includes dress and jacket: (1) Peach sleeveless silk dress has 9 decorative buttons and is pleated from the waist down. Measures 6'' at neckline. Small stain on top button. (2) Pink jacket with pointed edges has short puffed sleeves with pointed trim. Fits snugly over dress. Measures 7'' at neckline. Minor discoloration around neckline. Comes with vintage 8'' x 10'' photograph of Shirley accepting the miniature Oscar, which reads in type on verso: ''Shirley Temple takes the Academy Award for outstanding work in motion pictures in 1934 from Irvin J. Cobb, humorist, who presented the trophies at the annual banquet held recently.'' Both dress and jacket are in very good condition. With a COA signed by the Shirley Temple estate.
