Paramount Television Productions Inc. sign for Paramount's short-lived television production company which lasted from the early 1950s to 1959, ending with a controversial takeover of the DuMont network that aired its programming. Royal blue and white metal sign reads: ''Paramount Television Productions Inc. / A Subsidiary of / Paramount Pictures Corporation'' against the iconic Paramount logo. Single-sided sign has its original porcelain finish, and six holes encircle the sign so that it can be hung. Measures 22'' x 21.5''. Very good to near fine condition.
