Extremely rare menu signed by guests of the Commemoration Dinner in Honour of New Zealand Victoria Cross Winners, dated 29 January 1956. The Victoria Cross is the highest military honor of the United Kingdom, awarded to those who show ''valour in the face of the enemy''. Signed by 30+ guests, including 2-time VC winner Charles Upham, James Crichton and Samuel Frickleton. The card-style menu features a picture of the medal on the cover with the interior displaying the wine list, dinner menu and list of speakers. Measures 7.5'' x 10''. Some toning, left side has been 3-hole punched, partly affecting Samuel Frickleton's signature; right side has been 2-hole punched. Overall very good condition.
