Gold medal from the 1980 UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) Cup, won by a West German player. West Germany defeated Belgium 2-1 in the championship match played on 22 June 1980. Medal features name of tournament and year ''1980'' on front. Verso features European map, raised Kramer mark and ''UEFA'' on border. Gold tone metal medal measures 1.25'' in diameter and weighs 17 g., or 0.6 oz. Comes housed in red box with red felt bottom and white satin lining. Near fine condition.
