Lot of six hand painted cels from the longest-running American sitcom of all-time, ''The Simpsons''. Cels appeared in episode titled ''Bart vs. Thanksgiving'', which first aired on 22 November 1990. The six cels, when stacked together, form the scene of the Simpson family Thanksgiving, showing them eating turkey sandwiches around the kitchen table. Cels include: (1) Bart, Marge and Lisa; (2) their pet greyhound, ''Santa's Little Helper''; (3) Homer's upper-half and Maggie; (5) Homer's legs; (5) Homer's collar and right sleeve-end; (6) backs of chairs. Comes with printed background depicting full kitchen. Each cel has handwritten production notations on bottom, second cel has 20th Century Fox logo in gilt. Idolized worldwide, ''The Simpsons'' has aired for 27 consecutive seasons, spawned a feature-length film which grossed over $500 million and influenced countless shows, writers and comedians. Cels measure 12.5'' x 10.5'', background measures 12.5'' x 11''. Gouache on celluloids. Near fine condition. From the Sam Simon Estate.
