Signed on the fly-leaf "James Dickey" who writes an introduction to this edition, "Deliverance was conceived as a story having to do with a dangerous…adventure in which a man is forced to find himself in the hunt…to save his life, and the lives of his companions." Beautiful copy in fine condition with 22 kt. gilt flourishes to red leather boards, moire endpapers and silk bookmarker. Measures 6" x 8.5".
