Humorous original drawing by cult artist S. Clay Wilson in September 1992. Wilson, who got his start with ''Zap'' magazine in the 1960's, is widely known and respected in the comic world for his risque and satirical depictions of archetypal characters. This drawing, done on white cardboard in black ink with light blue shading, depicts ''Ruby the Dyke'' holding a phallic fishing rod while smoking a cigar and holding a bottle of ''Bitch Beer''. ''Ruby'' was one of Wilson's most popular characters, appearing in various issues of ''Zap'' magazine. Includes letter of sale written to the original buyer and initialed by Wilson on 9 September 1992. Upon the upper portion, Wilson dedicates the drawing, ''Ruby the Dyke for Richard Lubinskas'' and signs ''S. Clay Wilson / Sept. 1992.'' Measures 5'' x 7''. Near fine.
