Program for the very first 500 mile race at Brooklands in England, held on 12 October 1929, won that year by F.C. Clement and J.D. Barclay. Lot includes 4 page article from ''The Motor'' published three days later on 15 October 1929, recapping the Brooklands race. Program measures 5.5'' x 8.5'', article measures 7.75'' x 11.75'' (unfolded). Light wear to program covers and penciled writing on pages 21 and 23. Article has been removed from ''The Motor'' publication. Both items in very good condition.
