Chronologically bound collection of 30 ''OLYMPIA ZEITUNG'' daily programs, which translates to ''Olympic Newspaper''. This fascinating and large book includes the complete collection and spans from 21 July to 19 August 1936. Hosted by Nazi Germany, these Olympic games included the infamous photo of Jesse Owens, wearing his gold medal, saluting the U.S. among a sea of people saluting the Nazi regime. In addition to detailed event information and results, the newspapers include an extensive variety of photos in terms of subject matter, serving as both Nazi propaganda as well as information about the 1936 Olympics. Also includes incredible vintage ads, equally impressive in their range of subject and size. 624 pages, measures 12'' x 17.5'' and weighs 7.5 pounds. Written in German. Some taping to pages and creasing. Overall very good condition.
