Originally auctioned by Christie's as lot 293 in the October 1999 sale, ''The Personal Property of Marilyn Monroe'' sale, hat is accompanied by a striking photo by Roy Schatt of Marilyn wearing it. Hat label reads, ''Original Design by Madcaps New York.'' Tear in hat lining, otherwise near fine.
