Touching signed photo display of Helen Keller and her tutor, ''Miracle Worker'' Anne Sullivan Macy. Mat is signed by both extraordinary women and also by photographer Nickolas Muray. Keller's autograph inscription in her distinctive hand reads in pencil ''to Miss Carrie Schroeder / With cordial greetings / Helen Keller / March''. Also signed in pencil, ''Anne Sullivan Macy''. Photographer signs ''Muray'' and dates it 1927 in pencil. Accompanied by a single-page Braille letter reportedly sent to Keller. Viewing area of matte-finish photo and signed mat are 7.25'' x 9.5'' and 11'' x 15'' respectively. Double-matted to an overall size of 18'' x 24.5''. Near fine.
