Iconic film star Shirley Temple's signed white dancing shoes worn in the 1934 film ''Baby Takes a Bow'' as well as in her breakthrough performance in ''Stand Up And Cheer''. The films were each giant commercial successes, giving a lift for audiences during the depression and helping Temple earn a special Juvenile Academy award for her film performances that year. Small white Mary-Jane style shoes are presented behind glass in a gold cabinet with light blue and white embroidery, and with a framed picture of Temple to center. Temple signs the shoes on 9 December 1933, signing ''Shirley Temple'' to inside of each shoe. ''Stand up and Cheer'' and ''Baby Takes a Bow'' are also written on each shoe. Cabinet features gold nameplate to bottom, which reads ''The Original Dancing Shoes Signed by The Incomparable Shirley Temple''. Shoes measure 6.5'' inside of cabinet, which measures 16'' x 18.5'' x 3.5''. Weighs 7 lbs. Shoes show wear consistent from use. Very good.
