President John F. Kennedy signed copy of ''Profiles in Courage''. Written while Kennedy served as Senator from Massachusetts, ''Profiles'' is a salute to public figures who have put conscience over their careers. Published by Harper & Brothers: New York: 1956, this copy features Kennedy's uninscribed signature in blue ink to the flyleaf. With original unclipped dustjacket. Housed in a handsome custom-made blue cloth clamshell case. Book runs 266pp., bound in blue cloth boards with black spine. Book measures 6'' x 8.5'' and slipcase measures 7'' x 9.5''. Minor shelf wear, toning and small tear to upper edge of dustjacket. Near fine overall. With a COA from University Archives.
