Clarence Darrow autograph letter signed regarding Prohibition. Upon his personal stationery dated 13 June, Darrow writes Dr. Forrest R. Black, a law professor and colleague: ''Dear Mr. Black / I will be glad to read your articles. Although I doubt if you would get any anti-prohibitionists to take them up. However it is possible that some publishers might do it. Your [illegible] are exceedingly good and timely but of course the audience for really good stuff is quite limited...I suppose you know my friend Dr. Paul Anderson, of whom I am very fond. Send the package to my house as any future correspondence. It is 1537 E. 60th St. Chicago. I visit my office very rarely. With kind regards / Clarence Darrow''. 2pp., front and verso letter measures 7.25'' x 10.25''. Very good plus.
