Gift and Christmas card received by John F. Kennedy as President and President Elect, respectively. Wooden toy church bears an inscription in pencil on the underside,''To Our New Pres / Mr. & Mrs. J. F. Kennedy''. With provenance from the family of James H. Boyer, Sr., U.S. Capitol Police Officer and Kennedy chauffeur, to whom the Kennedy's gave the toy. Additionally with a Christmas card sent to the family of JFK while he was President-Elect, accompanied by the mailing envelope. Greeting card features a religious scene on the front and opens to a printed Bible verse and sentiment, signed, ''Mr. & Mrs. Peter Zuban''. Envelope is addressed in type to ''Master John F. Kennedy, Jr. / Washington, D.C.''. Card measures 4.5'' x 6''. Cracking to glossy finish along exterior fold. Model church is painted white with a sage green roof, red chimney and blue window outlines. Measures 5'' x 8.5'' x 7.25''. Near fine.
