Medal from the 1964 match between the Football League and the Scottish Football League at Sunderland. Match at Roker Park was called a draw at 2-2. Oval-shaped vermeil medal bears a soccer ball in relief, surrounded by a floral sprig on the top and oak leaf design underneath, all circumscribed, ''The Football League / Representative Match''. Reverse is inscribed, ''The Football League versus The Scottish Football League at Sunderland 18th March 1964''. With hallmarks to the bottom edge. Measures nearly 1'' x 1.25''. Weighs nearly 0.5 ounce or 14 grams. Housed in its original custom Football League case. Near fine.
