Henry Clive signed drawing with inscription to Mary MacArthur, daughter of actress Helen Hayes. Clive was a highly regarded illustrator in the 1930's-50's and here creates a man wearing a red fez, using a colored pencil and pen. Inscription reads ''I wish you all the blessings / of Alladin and his wonderful / lamp / Henry Clive / 1933 / To Mary''. On blank book page measuring 7'' x 8.25'', with child's toy photo on reverse. Near fine.
