Lot of 100 personal checks signed ''Mary Astor'' and made out in her hand. Checks in the lot date to 1970, 1978 and 1979. Each is printed with her final address at the motion picture industry's famed retirement home on Mulholland Drive. Astor accumulated over 100 credits over the course of her lengthy career spanning from the silent era into talkies, going on to win an Academy Award in 1941 for ''The Great Lie''. She starred opposite Humphrey Bogart in ''The Maltese Falcon'' that same year. Measuring 6'' x 2.75'', checks bear standard cancellations and are in very good condition.
