Beautiful rendering of Neil Armstrong, signed by both Armstrong and the artist Paul Calle. Lithograph is #696 of a limited edition run of 1,000. Calle was the only artist hired by NASA to draw depictions of the crew members from the Apollo 11 mission; he also designed the first commemorative Apollo 11 stamp. Signed by Armstrong and Calle in pencil at bottom during an appearance at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum on 23 December 1976 to raise money for the Charles Lindbergh Memorial Fund. Measures 19.25'' x 29''. Two pin-sized stains on right side. Very good.
