Acclaimed British author W. Somerset Maugham typed letter signed on ''Villa Mauresque'' stationery, dated 22 December 1950. Addressed to a Mr. Marcosson, letter reads in part, ''...I have only just arrived home again and hasten to send you the photograph you ask for...'' Signed ''W.S. Maugham'' in black ink. Measures 5.25'' x 8.25'' on one page. Near fine.
