Two volume set of Harry Truman's memoirs signed by the former President on 7 April 1967. First editions of ''Year of Decisions'' and ''Years of Trial and Hope'', published by Doubleday: Garden City: 1955-1956. Truman signs each memoir to the flyleaf: ''To Major John A. Hogda / From Harry Truman / 4-7-67''. Each volume contains a white, red and blue dustjacket, encasing black cloth boards. Both volumes run just under 600pp. and measure 5.75'' x 8.5''. Slight separation to hinge of ''Trial and Hope'' and chipping to dustjackets of both. An attractive, very good set.
