World-famous Italian opera singer Enrico Caruso's hand-drawn sketch on Lloyd Sabaudo yacht line stationery. Best known for his signature role as Canio in ''Pagliacci,'' Caruso was also a master caricature artist. Drawn circa 1917, portrait depicts a burly-looking man posing in profile with a curly beard and mustache, likely a friend or acquaintance of Caruso's. Portrait features an inscription by Caruso in pencil along the top edge, ''Sig. Randaccio''. Drawing is done in pencil and ink and measures 5'' x 7''. Matted in white to an overall size of 10.5'' x 14.5''. Toning throughout and minor creasing, else very good to near fine condition.
