First edition, second impression, as stated on copyright page. Inscribed by both George V and Queen Mary to Hilda Muriel Milsone OBE, Chief Cleric to the Private Secretary's Office at Buckingham Palace: ''Miss Milsone / from / George R.I. Mary R / Christmas 1930.'' Comprehensive book details the penult of Queen Anne's reign. Runs 477pp. and measures 6'' x 9'', bound in pine green cloth boards with gilt lettering. Pencil notation to front pastedown and wear to exterior front hinge, else near fine. Original dustjacket is intact with significant wear to edges and repair to split along inside front hinge, else very good.
