Pictorial postcard features the Matterhorn and reads in full: ''Came up here again this year for a rest. I am at a hotel half-way up a mountain - with my bedroom window framing the Matterhorn - No cars - no planes - Hope you will try to go away - dear - Much love - Rose''. Her message is written upside down, next to the address. Undated, with postmark partially obscured. Measures 5.5'' x 3.5''. Some creasing and irregularity to the edges, else near fine.
