Unused press ticket for the ''Texas Welcome Dinner'' honoring JFK, dated 22 November 1963, the day of his assassination. The dinner in honor of President and Mrs. Kennedy and Vice President and Mrs. Johnson, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Austin's Municipal Auditorium, was cancelled due to the day's tragic events. The 2.5'' x 6'' ticket to the Press Section in the balcony is in fine condition.
