John F. Kennedy typed letter signed as Senator of Massachusetts on United States Senate stationery, dated 11 April 1955. Letter is addressed to John Torman and reads in part, ''Thank you very much for your recent letter. I am glad to know that it has worked out all right. It would be your decision, of course, as to whatever future action you should take. I am inclined to think, however, that if everything is straightened out, it would be best to let well enough alone. It was good to hear from you and I am looking forward to seeing you sometimes in the near future.'' Signed, ''John'' in black ink, letter on one page measures 6'' x 9.25'' with toning to edges, and a toned fold along bottom, else very good condition.
