Neil Armstrong assorted cards lot, containing: (1) a holiday greeting card signed ''Neil Armstrong'', (2) 4 holiday greeting cards signed by the astronaut on behalf of himself and his wife, (3) 2 holiday greeting cards signed for the couple by Mrs. Armstrong, (4) an invitation to to the launch of Apollo 11 and a small card stating, ''Any change in the scheduled launch date will change the date of the party'', (5) a pair of passes to his 1969 homecoming party in Wapakoneta, Ohio, and another item related to that event, (6) an invitation to a reception honoring the astronauts in Florida, held 15 July 1969, just days before the historic launch. Cards range in size from 3.5'' x 2'' to 5.5'' x 8''. Near fine overall, and accompanied by most of the original mailing envelopes, often filled out in Armstrong's hand. Lot also includes a NASA program from the John F. Kennedy Space Center, a NASA pamphlet from Apollo 11, an original 8'' x 10'' semi-matte photo print of the launch and a beautiful full-color 46pp. booklet published by NASA.
