Theodore Roosevelt document signed as President. Partially-printed document appoints one Robert O. Ragsdale to the position of First Lieutenant of Infantry. Dated 17 July 1902, document is countersigned by the Secretary of War, Elihu Root, and features the rubber stamp and signature of Adjutant-General of the US Army. Measures 21'' x 16''. A few tiny tears and creases to edges and chipping to blue seal, else near fine.
