Autograph letter signed by a Dachau prisoner dated 7 December 1940. The sender's name appears as "Flauk Stanislaus". His date of birth is listed as 3 January 1898 along with "Prisoner No.: 12478; Block 21/3." Letter is addressed to "My dear daughter". Rules printed on the official Dachau stationery restrict paper size and frequency of contact, adding: "…Everything…is subject to seizure…Release requests…are useless…" A censor stamps the interior. 3pp. measure 5.75" x 8.25". Toning, separation at fold and light staining. Very good.
