Maharaja Duleep Singh autograph letter signed as the last Maharaja of the Sikh Empire. Letter dated 9 December 1870 reads, ''Dear [illegible], I shall be happy to shoot with you on the 14 as stated in your letter and will try to be there in time but should I not succeed I will never forgive you if you will wait for me at all / [illegible] Very Truly Yours / Duleep Singh''. 2pp. letter on a sheet of card-style stationery measures 4.5'' x 7''. Creasing and pencil notations to verso, else near fine.
