Dinner plate from the final official dinner held in President Kennedy's honor. Four days before his assassination, this dark cobalt blue plate was used at the 18 November 1963 dinner at the Hotel Americana in Miami, Florida, hosted by the Inter American Press Association's 19th Annual Assembly. Dinner plate features a gilt rim and gilt presidential seal at the white center, encircled by a gilt ring and 14 coats of arms all in gilt, each representing a member state of the IAPA. Plate underside is stamped ''Syracuse / China / 93-G U.S.A.'' Plate measures 10.25'' in diameter. Tiny nick to underside. Near fine.
