Gemini 3 space-flown Fliteline medallion and embroidered patch. Fliteline medallion in sterling silver is cast with an image of the Molly Brown upon splashdown, surrounded by the names of her astronauts, Virgil I. Grissom and John W. Young, the first two Americans ever in space. Measures 1" in diameter. Embroidered 3.5" patch in blue, grey, white and black also shows the spacecraft at splashdown. Flown pieces are mounted to a teal background and matted and framed to an overall size of 7.75" x 10.75". Near fine. Obtained directly from the Gus Grissom estate, with a COA from his son.
