Charles Schulz "Peanuts" strip. Four panel strip from 3 October 1967 features Charlie Brown and Linus, who tells Charlie he's afraid to look at his history test score. In the next panel, Linus is shown with dialogue bubble reading, "Oh, I hope I got a good grade! Please let me have a good grade! Please, please, please!" Charlie suggests he should have hoped and prayed before the test, not after, to which Linus responds, "Hoping and praying should never be confused with studying". United Feature Syndicate label is affixed to the first panel. Measures 28.5" x 7.25". Mounted to heavy paperboard, affixed to the verso of which is a typed letter signed, "Charles M. Schulz" on his personal Snoopy and Charlie Brown stationery. Letter to Robert McAfee Brown, professor of religion at Stanford University is dated 17 November 1967. Usual crease down the center of strip, else near fine.
